My goal was to build confidence in cornering at speed – knowing where the limit is and how to react when I reach it. We did over 2 hours of low-speed carpark maneuvers, which surprisingly did help me reach my goal. We found where that limit was by skidding front and rear wheels, and learnt how to react by catching the bike from falling with steering, clutch, throttle and rear brake practice. I’m left with a clear idea of increased confidence, and of what I need to practice to improve.
